Stella is equipped with COB (Chip-on-Board) technology. The technology means that the LEDs can be mounted very tightly and directly on the circuit board, which provides a crystal clear light without visible diodes. At the same time, the energy consumption can be reduced as the number of components that the current passes between the circuit board and the diode is reduced.
Stella Flat has a recess depth of at least 8.5 mm. The thin luminaire gives a larger margin when mounting in e.g. shelves and frames. With Stella Flat mounted in a 16 mm frame, you get a 7.5 mm margin. The light has an even distribution thanks to the large number of LEDs. Simpler LED spots with fewer LEDs lack this homogeneous light.
